Monday evening T.V. Carlton and Miss Vera Snyder went to Menomonie, Mich., where they were united in marriage upon their arrival there.  The wedding is in the nature of a surprise to the friends of the young couple.  The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Carlton and is a barber by occupation, having been in business here until recently.  He is an industrious young man and capable in a business way.  His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Snyder and is a young lady of unusually pleasing personality.  She is a talented musician and well liked by all her associates.  The future plans of the young people are not known at present.
