Nativity Scene (Live Animals–1960)
A nativity scene at the Chap Paulson farm, one-half mile south of Neillsville on Highway 73, is the source of attraction to many passers-by.
Two live burros, used by Paulson in his Fort Dells service at Wisconsin Dells, and a live sheep are in the foreground grazing. Behind them is the stable with two manikins, Joseph and Mary, and the child in a manger. Angels fly above the scene, held up by almost invisible wires.
Spotlights on the scene make the contrast in the night scene even more attractive than during the day.
