Grade, Frances C. (30 MAY 1936 - 2 JAN 2011)

NEILLSVILLE -- Frances C. Grade, 74, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at the Neillsville Care and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville.

Frances Clara Grade was born May 30, 1936, in Rockford, Ill., the daughter of Robert and Vernie (Burndt) Dyer. She was united in marriage to Douglas Grade on Aug. 9, 1949, in Beloit. She worked at Headstart in Neillsville, as a secretary for Anywear in Neillsville and as a unit clerk at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas; five children, Cindy (John) Dammann of Greenwood, Linda (Larry) Custer of Stratford, Douglas Grade of Ozark, Ala., Judy (George) Crothers of Neillsville, and Steven (Cheryl) Grade of Fond du Lac; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dale (Pam) Dyer of Teresa, and Fred (Phylis) Hawn of Sun City, Ariz.; and sisters.

A memorial service for Frances will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Interment will be in the town of Lynn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at Gesche Funeral Home.
