Neville, Michael (1855? - 1913)

Michael Neville was born in Missouri and was 58 years of age.  He went to Canada in early childhood where he grew into young manhood.  He located in Clark County about 43 years ago, engaging in logging and river driving.  Later he bought a farm in town of Weston where he lived with his family for many years, a few years ago coming to this city and making his home with his daughter, Mrs. John Schmoll.  He was married to Anna Madden 45 years ago and to this union seven children were born, six of whom survive their parents.  They are Phil of town Weston, James, Mike and William of Alberta, Canada, Mrs. Robert Sythe of Girard, Mont., and Mrs. John Schmoll.

Deceased is one of the best known of the early day loggers.  He was possessed of a keen sense of humor and lived a life of energy and uprightness.  He was a member of St. Mary’s Church of this city at which funeral services will be conducted.
