York Center (30 September 1937)
A play will be given at the York town hall, Friday evening, October 1, sponsored by the York Community club, the Ladies Aid, the Farmer’s Union and the Milk Pool. A door fee of 5c will be charged. Refreshments consisting of hamburger sandwiches, coffee, ice cream, pop, and Pop-corn, will be served. Everybody is invited.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wierenzenski, Marshfield, spent Sunday at the Mary Wierenzenski home.
George Mortimer and sister, Grace Rowe were Neillsville callers on Monday.
J. F. Mortimer sold his hogs last Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schoengarth and children called at the John Davis home on Saturday.
Robert Teatz and son Roy, and wife, and Miss Violet Fencil spent Friday afternoon at the Hank Voight home. Miss Fencil spent the night there.
Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Mortimer and Mrs. Davis were Neillsville callers last Tuesday.
Dr. and Mrs. Overman spent Sunday evening at the Hank Voight home.
George Mortimer and sister, Grace Rowe were Greenwood callers Sunday.
John Davis was a Granton caller Tuesday.
Hank Voight delivered a cow to Granton on Tuesday.
Frank Wierenzenski and Miss Dorothy Olson spent Sunday at the Wierenzenski home.
Jerald Searls called on home folks Monday.
