Madison - Sixty-First Annual Meeting
Wisconsin educators received an appeal this week to attend the sixty-first annual meeting of the directors and officers of the American Humane Association which will be held at the Hotel Pfister in Milwaukee, October 4 to 7 inclusive, according to George F. Comings, State Human Agent of the Department of Agriculture and Markets.
The sessions of this year’s meeting are divided into two sections, the first two days being devoted to child welfare and the last two days being devoted to humane treatment of animals, Mr. Comings stated. The entire program, consisting of addresses by speakers of national reputation, is to be filled with information concerning the most vital present day subjects of the humane movement. Mr. Comings said, adding that the speakers represent every phase of humane activity throughout the nation.
