Smith, Charles D. (25 APR 1874 - 7 JUL 1952)
A former resident of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), Charles D. Smith, passed away at his home in Rapid City, S.D., on July 7, 1952.
Mr. Smith was born in the Town of Loyal, April 25, 1874. His parents were Abram and Jane Smith.
He married Anna Hutchins of the Town of Unity on Jan. 1, 1898.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and nine children, one sister, Mrs. Clara Hutchins of Loyal, numerous grandchildren, besides nieces and nephews around Loyal and Marshfield.
He left Loyal with his family over thirty years ago to make his home in South Dakota. He and his wife made a trip to Loyal in 1944.
He was a brother of the late Oliver Smith, better known as Ollie, who passed away ten years ago.
