Brandon Butkus of Dorchester and Melissa Underwood of Colby were united in marriage September 18, 2010, at the groom’s parents house in Dorchester. Pastor Kris Bjerke-Ullman of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss, officiated.
Melissa is the daughter of Darrell and Laureen Underwood of Colby.
Brandon is the son of Dawn and Chuck Decker, Dorchester and Crockett and Penny Butkus, Owen.
The bride wore a strapless white, satin side-draped, A-line dress with beaded lace bodice, tiered lace trim, and chapel train. Her veil was elbow length, sheer and trimmed with pearl beading, Her flowers were fall-colored calla lilies, roses and mums.
Flower girl was Dailyn Paul of Chippewa Falls. Ringbearer was Jaden Underwood of Colby.
Matron of honor was Ginger Verhulst, McFarland, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kayce Kunze, Dorchester, Jessica Brueggen, Wausau and Natalyn Belanger, Colby.
Best man was David Belanger, Colby, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Andrew Krauss, Alexandria, VA, Justin Decker, Weston and Josh Barkley, Marathon.
Ushers were Eric Underwood, Plymouth, and Jamie Decker, Dorchester.
Music during the ceremony was proved by DJ Graffic Sound of Medford.

A reception was held at Simek Recreation Center, Medford.
The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Colby High School and a 2009 graduate of UW-Stout with a bachelor’s degree in interior design. She is currently employed as a designer at Decorator Industries in Abbotsford.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Colby High School. He graduated from NTC in 2007 with a degree in architectural and residential design and earned a construction management degree from UW-Stout in 2009. He currently is employed as a sales engineer at Parrett Windows and Doors in Dorchester.
The couple resided in Dorchester.
