Army Uniform New Colors (1 September 1938)
A limited number of new uniforms are being made for the U. S. Army, and will be used by a group of troops for a year as a test. The uniforms are woolen field service outfits of slate blue. The army at the present time used an olive drab color uniform. The new uniforms will probably be tested for a year before an announcement is made as to whether they will or will not, be used.
