The first meeting of the executive committee met at the High School Monday evening and prepared plans for this year’s program. The following committees were chosen for this year’s work:

Publicity: Mrs. Kelly, Chairman; (Incomplete).

Program: Mrs. Wm. Schmidtke, Chairman; Mrs. S. D. Macomber and Mrs. J. G. Buth

Finance: Ben Beeckler, chairman; Wilbur Billman and W. Schmidtke

Publications: M. G. Zahradka, chairman; Mrs. Ben Beeckler, S. D. Macomber and Mrs. Ewald Thiede

Safety Committee: Mrs. Walter Trimberger, chairman; Mr. Simmelink, (incomplete)

Mother’s Study Club: Miss Counsell, chairman

The first meeting will be held Tuesday evening September 6^th at the High School.  The committee has a very interesting program prepared.  Come out and meet the new teachers.  An interesting speaker has been secured from outside the community.
