Vick, Ruth (20 APR 1895 - 27 SEP 1952)
Funeral services for Mrs. Edgar Vick, 57, prominent in civic and church affairs, who died Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Church. The Rev. Lee Holmes officiated and burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
The hymns, "Face to Face" and "The Lights of Home: were sung by James Colby, with Mrs. Byron Zepplin at the organ.
The Eastern Star presented their funeral service at the grave.
Serving as pallbearers were O. W. Trindal, J.R. Thomas, William Essex, Ray Prior, Herbert White, and Henry Anderegg.
Mrs. Vick, the former Ruth Stai, was born April 20, 1895, in Eau Claire. She received her education there and graduated from the Eau Claire County Normal School. After her graduation in 1912, she taught school for two years at the Pleasant View School, Town of York, and for four years in Augusta.
A resident of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) for 35 years, Mrs. Vick was a member of the Loyal Women’s Study Club, Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors, Past Matron’s Club, and the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Vick is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Jean) Schachtely, West Allis, Mrs. Lawrence Hagens, Eau Claire, and Mrs. Virgil (Lorna) Holmes, Argyle; seven grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. John Johnson and Mrs. George Lorentz, Eau Claire, Mrs. Minnie Kurth, Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Margaret Rochan, Mazomanie, and Mrs. Harold Jordan, St. Paul; and a brother, William Stai, Eau Claire.
A child, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

B. Giese, Withee; and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Wicklund, Nekoosa.
