Briski, Michael C. (2 April 1922 - 19 December 1986)
Michael C. Briski, 64, Rt. 3, Greenwood, Town of Reseburg, died Friday, December 19, 1986 at his home.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 22, 1986 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood with Rev. Robert Streveler, officiating.
He was born April 8, 1922 at Greenwood to Michael and Mary (Zagar) Briski, Sr., and received his education in the Greenwood rural schools. He married Dorothy Harycki on August 2, 1947 at St. Hedwig’s Church, Thorp. Mike worked as a milk hauler for Greenwood Milk Products for 35 years, retiring in 1980. He also was an avid musician having his own polka band where he played the concertina with the Wildwood Polka Boys Band. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Jerome and Duane, both of Greenwood; one brother, Frank of Thorp; three sisters (Mary Mrs. Wm. Agiewich, Cicero, IL; (Anna) Mrs. Frank Vivoda, Cicero, IL; (Zora) Mrs. Joseph Murvin of Hillside, IL and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Helen.
Pallbearers were: Matt Kopacz, James Petranovich, Fred Letvinuch, Arthur Olsak, William Agiewich and Frank Vivoda.
