Tomczak, Theodore Stanley (18 April 1919 - 21 February 1997)

Theodore Stanley Tomczak, 77, W 9414 Cty Hwy X, Thorp, WI died Friday, February 21, 1997, at his home in the Township of Withee.

He was born April 18, 1919 in the Township of Withee to Anton and Martha (Mozinski) Tomczak.  He married Katherine Perla, March 26, 1951 in Toledo, OH.  He lived in Blue Island, IL for 32 years and worked for the Conrad Hilton as a doorman until retirement, moving to Thorp 11 years ago.

Surviving are his wife, Katherine Tomczak, Thorp; one daughter, Susan Sablan of California; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Helen Beck of Long Beach, CA, Lillian (Casey) Ruzak of Thorp, Florence Koch of Glen view, IL; three brothers: Michael Tomczak of Owen, Joseph Tomczak of Lublin and Frank Tomczak of Withee.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters: Martha Jasinski and Harriet Harrer and 2 brothers: Tony and Walter.

Funeral services were held on Monday, February 24, 1997, 10:30 a.m. at Thorp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Puerner officiating and Eau Claire Memorial Crematory.  Visitation was from 9:00 a.m. till time of service.
