Olson, Della (6 DEC 1952)
Miss Della Olson, Viroqua, and James R. Colby, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), son of Mrs. B. W. Colby, Crystal Lake, Ill., were married Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at the home of the bride’s brother, Chester Olson, Viroqua.
The Rev. G. Marshall, brother-in-law of the bride, officiated at the nuptial ceremony.
Mrs. G. Marshall attended her sister as matron of honor. Her dress was orchid velvet and her flowers were white chrysanthemums and yellow mums.
Miss Olson selected a blue suit dress and carried white and pink carnations on a white Bible.
Herman Jackson served as best man for Mr. Colby.
Dinner was served at Viroqua.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Chicago with a B.S. Degree and from Scaritt College with a M.A. Degree. The groom is a graduate of the Loyal High School and attended the W.B.U. of La Crosse. Mr. Colby is cashier of the Citizens State Bank of Loyal.
They came to Loyal Saturday evening and will make their home here.
Guests from away who attended the wedding were Mrs. Albert Anderson and daughters, Marshfield; Mr. A. Olson, New England, N.D.; Mr. E. Olson, Amidon, N.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dale, Bismarck, N.D.
