Kelty, Ruth Ann (21 MAY 1944 - 11 DEC 1952)

 

Ruth Ann Kelty, 8, died Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, a victim of Bright’s disease.  She had been a patient there since Nov. 17.

 

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the West Beaver Chapel, with the Rev. L. J. Chapman of Neillsville officiating.  Burial was made in the Beaver Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were Art Wehrman, Jr., Bernard Lindgren, Douglas Severson and Mitchell Smith, while serving as honorary pallbearers were Barbara Wehrman, Mary Lou Jolivette, Deloris Kramer and Doris Stafford.

 

Flower girls included Jeanette Wehrman, Jean Vogel, Marleen Kramer, Karen Lindgren, Gwendolyn Lindgren, Mabel Jolivette and Jeanette Radley.  Music was provided by singers Mrs. Kenneth Worden and Miss Elaine Worden.  They were accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Earl Worden.

 

Ruth Ann, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Kelty, route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), was born in West Beaver on May 21, 1944.  She attended the La Tart School, Town of Beaver, and the West Beaver Sunday School.

 

She is survived by her parents, two brothers, Wayne and Jerry, and two sisters, Maxine and Carol.

 

Also close surviving relatives are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Haupt and daughters of Loyal, Wm. Kilty, Unity, and Mrs. Mary Steber of Long Beach, Calif.

 

Among those attend the funeral were: Mrs. Viola Messerknecht and son, Schofield; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Haupt, Wittenberg, Edward Zellmer, Exland; Henry Haupt, Bloomer; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Haupt and daughters Janet and Darlene.

 

From Unity were: Wm. Kilty, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Kilty, Kenneth Kilty, Vern and Marvin Kilty, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gottchalk, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mattson, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Neuman, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Witte, Sr.

 

Others included: Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kilty and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Kilty of Colby; Mr. and Mrs. John Korntved, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kilty, Edgar; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hein and Mrs. Wm. Roohr of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hubert and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Swieso and son of Greenwood; and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert White, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Herdrich and Mrs. Wm. Nelson of Loyal.
