Flowers, ferns and candelabra decorated the Loyal Methodist Church Friday for the marriage of Miss Audrey Motchenbacher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Motchenbacher, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) to Myron Goetz, , son of Mrs. Frances Goetz, Milwaukee.
The Rev. Lee Holmes, La Crosse, assisted by Rev. Miles Stein, local pastor, officiated at the 4:30 p.m. double ring ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a rust taffeta dress trimmed with matching braid, pearls, and rhinestones. She wore a winter white hat and pinned a white orchid to her shoulder.
Mrs. Dale Rondorf of Marshfield was matron of honor. Her dress was gray taffeta. She wore a winter white hat and her corsage was of red roses. Dale Rondorf, cousin of the bride, was best man. Seating the guests were cousins of the bride, Carol Pagelsdorf and Harold Pagelsdorf.
The bride’s mother wore a plum colored dress and her corsage was white roses.
During the service La Vern Dahlby sang "Because" and "Oh, Promise Me," with Miss Rochelle Lautenbach at the organ.
Covers were laid for 60 guests at the seven o’clock dinner which was served in the parlors of the Methodist Church.
The new Mrs. Goetz is a graduate of the Marshfield High School. She has been employed in Milwaukee for the past four years. Mr. Goetz graduated from Port Washington High School and Erck Dental Laboratory of Milwaukee. He is a dintist’s technician in Milwaukee.
Guests were in attendance from Milwaukee, Marshfield and Madison.
The couple will live at 1622 N. 32nd St., Milwaukee.
