Fischer, Bonnie Lou (7 JAN 1961)
Miss Bonnie Lou Fischer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fischer, Colby, became the bride of Jerome Charles Zygowicz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zygowicz, Unity, Saturday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby. The Rev. James Stauber performed the ceremony at 11 o’clock.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white silk organza, with a cotton lace bodice, designed with long sleeves and a scalloped neckline outlined with pearls. A pearl laced coronet held her nylon net veil. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses.
Miss Bonnie Langteau, the maid of honor, and Miss Patricia Zygowicz, the bridesmaid, wore ballerina length frocks of wedgewood blue lace over taffeta with matching hats. Their bouquets were made of blue and white carnations.
Clinton Schjonnemann was best man and Wayne R. Misener was groomsman.
About 150 guests attended the wedding reception held at the Colby City Hall. In the evening a wedding dance was held at Dorchester Memorial Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Zygowicz will make their home at Colby. The bride is employed by the General Telephone Co. of Wisconsin in Colby, and the groom works for the Roddis Division of the Weyerhauser Corp. at Marshfield.
