Olson, Sylvia #2 (29 AUG 1902 - 30 JAN 1961)

Mrs. Clarence Olson, 58, died of a heart attack Monday morning at her home in Marshfield.  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Immanuel Lutheran Church and interment was made in Hillside Cemetery.

The former Sylvia Vanderhoof was born in Loyal, Aug. 29, 1902.  The family moved to Montana when she was a small child and in 1917 came to Abbotsford.

After her marriage to Clarence Olson on Feb. 9, 1919, at Abbotsford, the couple operated a cheese factory near Colby until 1914 when they moved to Marshfield.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Willard (Gladys) Frome, Marshfield; a son, La Verne, Two Rivers; four grandchildren and three sisters in Minnesota.

An infant son and three brothers preceded her in death.
