Weideman, Louis "Jack" (11 JUN 1894 - 30 MAY 1961)
Funeral services for Louis "Jack" Weideman, 67, who died at his home Tuesday morning, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. L. F. Faivre will officiate, and interment will be made in the Abbotsford Cemetery.
Military rites will be conducted under the auspices of the American Legion, Hanson - Terrio post, of which Mr. Weideman was a charter member.
The body is lying in state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home and will be taken to the church at noon Friday.
Louis Weideman was born June 11, 1894, in the town of Holton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Weideman. He attended the Abbotsford grade school, the Dunn County Agricultural School and the Milwaukee County Agricultural School.
He farmed in this vicinity for a number of years. He served in World War I and was in poor health for some time.
On April 16, 1921, he and Miss Margaret Moore were united in marriage in Menomonie, Wis.
Surviving him are his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Marie Spencer of Marshfield. There are six grandchildren.
He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Helen) Holtzhausen, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Norman Jacobson, La Crosse.
His parents and two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
