Junker, Mathilda (8 APR 1876 - 30 MAY 1961)
Mrs. Mathilda Junker, 85, died Tuesday, May 30, 1961, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient for about 10 days.
The body will lie in state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home beginning Thursday evening. Definite arrangements for the funeral services, which will be held Saturday, have not been completed. Interment will be made in the Abbotsford Cemetery.
Mathilda Schulz was born at Reedsville April 8, 1876, and was educated there. She was married to John Junker and for the past 40 years lived on a farm in the town of Holton.
Mr. Junker preceded her in death in 1927.
Surviving here are three children, Mrs. Edwin (Elsie) Braun of Manitowoc, Henry of Boyd and Elmer of Abbotsford. Other survivors include six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and one brother, Albert Schulz of Reedsville.
One son, Alvin, is deceased.
