Funeral services for Mrs. Mathilda Kelly, 92, who died Friday afternoon at St. Joseph’s Hospital, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Polnaszek Funeral Home.  The Rev. Lillian Jensen of the Assembly of God Church officiated at the services.  Mrs. Alvin Venzke sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "God Understands."

Interment was made in the Abbotsford Cemetery.  Pallbearers were George Heida, Clarence Klieforth, Louis Mauritz, Ben Merwin, Harry Olson and Joseph Sulik.

Mrs. Kelly was born in Germany March 20, 1869 and came to America about 1888.  She was married to Howard Kelly in Aberdeen, S.D., and the couple came to Abbotsford in 1915.  Mr. Kelly died in 1932.

Mrs. Leslie (Mary) Minshall of St. Petersburg, a niece, is among the survivors.  Mrs. Minshall made her home with them prior to her marriage.  For the past few years, Mrs. Kelly spent the winter months with Mr. and Mrs. Minshall.
