Ohlinger, Lawrence (10 DEC 1893 - 7 JUN 1961)

 

Lawrence Ohlinger, 67, died at his home in the town of Hull on June 7, 1961.  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby, with the Rev. John B. Pinion officiating.  Burial was made in the Colby Cemetery.

 

Mr. Ohlinger was born in the town of Hull, Dec. 10, 1893.  He attended the local schools and was married to the former Leona Bartell in 1919 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Mr. Ohlinger lived in this area all his life and was a veteran of World War I.

 

Survivors include his wife, three sons, Milton and Wyath, Milwaukee, and Robert, San Diego, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Art (Nora) Eberly, Madison, Mrs. Theresa Fortman, Fort Recovery, Ohio, Mrs. Matt (Susan) Gindt, Boyd, Mrs. Leo (Hilda) Apfelbeck, Colby, and Mrs. Albert (Loretta) Kunze, Abbotsford; and two brothers, John and Arnold, both of Colby.

 

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
