Fisher, Augustine (14 August 1857 - 8 February 1954)
Funeral services for Mrs. Augustine Fisher, 96, who died at her home in the Town of Sherman Monday, Feb. 8, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, in Salem’s Lutheran Church, Veefkind. The Rev. E. E. Aalto officiated and burial took place in the parish cemetery.
"Let Me Go", and "Heaven is My Home" were sung by Mrs. Ruth Noeldner accompanied by Margaret Ann Rottjer.
Pallbearers were Elmer Horn, Lowell Schultz, Chauncey Stevens, Howard Schultz, Erwin Farnsworth and Milton Reinheimer. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Lowell Schultz, Mrs. Wm. Reinheimer, Mrs. Elmer Horn, Mrs. Minnie Farnsworth, Mrs. Milford Gilbert and Miss Cora Reinheimer.
Mrs. Fisher was born in Germany August 14, 1857, and came to America in 1871 to Sheboygan County. Here she was married to John Fisher on February 17, 1877 and came as a bride to Clark County. They settled on a farm in the Town of Sherman where they lived until 1910 when they built a home in Veefkind, where she had lived ever since.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Woodruff, 8 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Her husband and one son John preceded her in death.

Hildebrandt and Mrs. Martin Kobs, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith, Humbird; Mr. and Mrs. William Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fisher and Thomas Fisher of Spencer.
