Farmer, William Edward (6 March 1868 - 22 March 1954)
William Edward Farmer was born March 6, 1868 at Mankato, Minn. He passed away on March 22, at the age of 86 years.
He moved to Fond du Lac with his parents when he was a small child. He received his education in Fond du Lac schools. Later he lived in Rubicon and Hartford with a cousin. In September 1929, he came to Loyal to live with a nephew, J. Vernon Smith, and family.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Alice Smith of Loyal, and three nephews, J. Vernon Smith, Loyal; Jess Smith, Lake Geneva; and Will Smith, Milton Junction. He was never married.
Funeral services were held at the Myre Funeral Home, Wednesday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Norbert King officiating. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Chester Smith, Bert Brown, Fred Heiking, Jack Schweiger, William Tucker and Ewald Schwarze.
