Miller, Delbert (14 APRIL 1919-28 JAN 2003)
Delbert "Cub" Miller, 83, Janesville, formerly of Edgerton, died on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, in Beloit. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb.1, at the Ehlert-Ward Funeral Home, Edgerton. The Rev. Roy Poltrock officiated.
Delbert Miller was born on April 14, 1919, in Greenwood, to John and Ethel (nee Knox) Miller. He married Marie Nagle on May 28, 1949, in Dubuque, Iowa. He worked for General Motors for 30 years until his retirement in 1977. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War ll and a lifelong member of the Edgerton V.F.W. His interests included hunting, fishing, reading and yard work.
Survivors include his wife Marie; one daughter, Annette (Ronald) Schroeder, Edgerton; two sons. Gary Miller, Janesville, and Richard (Mary) Miller; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister-in-law, Anita Heck, Greenwood.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter-in-law, Linda Miller; a sister, Eva (Miller) Olson; and a brother, Donald Miller.
Ehlert-Ward Funeral Home, Edgerton, assisted the family with arrangements.
