Humboldt, Dale (13 September 1955 - 10 January 2011)

Dale Humboldt, 55, of Verona died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, unexpectedly at home.

Dale was born Sept. 13, 1955, in Neillsville, the son of Lyle and Ruth (Beilke) Humboldt.  He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1973. After high school he went to the Eau Claire Technical College. Dale had a successful painting business in Madison for many years.  He enjoyed hunting, gardening, antique hunting, friends, family and his dogs.

Dale married Wendy Christopherson in April 1975 and later divorced.  He is survived by his son Lucas; daughter Katie; and grandchildren, Maurice and Shyelle of Madison; mother Ruth Boyer and step-father Marvin Boyer of Neillsville; sister Judith (Bernard) Spiegel of Oregon; sister Joyce (Ron) Hennig of Eau Claire; brother Gary Humboldt (Brenda Gilbert) of Neillsville; nephews, Jay (Jennifer) Spiegel, Tyler Spiegel, Justin (Ashley) Hennig, Kristopher Hennig, Brandon Humboldt and Dylan Humboldt.
