Jensen Family (Injured in Accident - 23 AUG 1961)
Members of the Elmer Jensen family escaped serious injury in an automobile accident Sunday at 1:20 p.m., at the Dorchester corner on Highway 13.
The Jensen car, driven by Miss Linnea Jensen, was traveling east across the intersection when it collided with a car driven by William Wiedenhoeft, Milwaukee, traveling south. The impact forced both cars into the ditch on the east side of the highway and both were damaged beyond repair.
Both Miss Jensen and her brother, David, a passenger in the front seat, were thrown from the car. She suffered cuts to her head and bruises, and is being cared for at her home. David received a cracked clavicle. Other passengers in the back seat of the car were Mrs. Jensen, Emery and Karen, and were apparently uninjured. Mr. Wiedenhoeft also escaped injury.
