Peissig, Janet Ann (5 AUG 1961)

 

Miss Janet Ann Peissig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery H. Peissig of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), and James W. Niederloh, son of Mrs. Walter Niederloh and the late Walter Niederloh of Chetek, exchanged marriage vows Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Curtiss.

 

The Rev. Donald Olson read the marriage service before the altar, which was decorated with a spray of white and yellow gladioli for the occasion.

 

Mrs. Lois Springer was the organist and played as the processional, a march based on a theme by Handel and by Guilmant as a recessional, Psalm 19, "The Heavens Declare," by Marcello  Miss Donna Ehrenreich sang "Entreat Me Not to Leave Thee," from "Song of Ruth" by Gounod, and the congregation sang "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty."

 

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin gown with a chapel train.  Imported Italian lace and seed pearls were used in trimming.  Her fingertip veil was attached to a pearl and sequin crown.  She carried a cascade arrangement of Amazon lilies with yellow feathered carnations and white pompons tied with white satin ribbon.

 

Attending her as matron of honor was Mrs. Janet Christenson of Minneapolis.  Her bridesmaids were Miss Carol Klun of Marshfield and Miss Jo Louise Akermark of Grantsburg.  Miss Tanya House of Abbotsford was junior bridesmaid.

 

They were all dressed alike in yellow taffeta dresses, designed with scoop necklines and full gathered skirts.  Their crescent shaped bouquets were of shades of yellow and bronze pompons.

 

David Skong? Of Minneapolis was the best man, and Sheldon Moe of Chetek and Don Peissig of Curtiss were groomsmen.  The ushering duties were performed by John D...steao? and Hjalmer Hanson.

 

Approximately 250 guests attended the reception and supper in the church parlors.

 

The bides is a graduate of the Abbotsford High School and Wis. State College, Eau Claire, and in late August will start her clinical training in medical technology at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis.

 

The groom attended Chetek High School and Michigan College of Mining and Technology, and was graduated from Wis. state College, Eau Claire, where he was affiliated with Phi Eta Sigma, Eta Phi and Kappa Delta Pi fraternities.  He is employed as a programmer for Remington.
