WITHEE
-- Viola "Vie" B. Jalling, 88, of Withee, passed away Thursday,
Jan. 27, 2011, at Clark County Health Care Center in
Owen.
Her
funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at
Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee. Pastor Bonnie Cain will
officiate. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Withee
following the service. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m.
until the time of service at the church in
Withee.
Viola
was born Feb. 26, 1922, to John and Laura (Miller) Blunck in
Withee. She graduated from Withee High School. Vie was joined in
marriage to her husband, John Jalling, on March 21, 1941, at St.
John's Lutheran Church in Withee. Vie and John owned and operated
Jalling's Family Grocery in Withee for 26 years. In 1970, they
purchased the 11th Frame Bowling Alley and later added the
restaurant facilities. She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church
and a member of the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed baking, cooking and
most of all spending time with her
family.
Vie is
lovingly survived by her children, Linda (late Ken) Clark of Withee
and John "Jack" (Ruth) Jalling of Chippewa Falls; her
grandchildren, Scott (Lori) Jalling and Rick (Deb) Jalling, Michael
(Michelle) Renderman, Mark (Tammy) Renderman, Daniel (Tracy)
Renderman and Ryan (Robyn) Renderman; step-grandchildren, Dawn
(Dennis) Schuh and Kenneth (Helena) Lynn; great-grandchildren,
Josh, Kayla and Julie Jalling, Jacob, Katie and Jenna Jalling,
Rachel, Lance, Luke, Courtney, Kelly, Riley and Riah Renderman,
Sierra, Savanna and Kyle Renderman; great-step-grandchildren,
Dustin and Dylan Schuh, Adrian and Annalyse Lynn, Joseph, Derrek
and Danny
Wegerer.
She was
preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, John;
her son-in-law, Ken Clark; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Jalling; and
her brother, John
Blunck.
The
