Francis Clark died early Friday morning at the home of his step-son, Lacey Philpott at Loretta. Mr. Clark would have been 85 years old March 22. Complications of old age is given as the cause of his death. He has lived in Loyal for many years. At one time he was in the mercantile business here.
For the last few years he has spent the winter in Loretta at the Philpott home.
He is survived by one son, James Clark of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and the body was taken to Iowa from Loretta for burial.
