Deer Hunting Report (Loyal, Wisconsin - 1954)
Alfred Mandel was one of the first hunters to report of success following the opening of the deer season last Saturday. He shot a four point buck at 8:30 Saturday morning up in Ashland County.
Jess Raab was reported to have killed a huge 250 pound buck up in the area near Hayward.
Jerry Bredlau shot a buck, the only one to bring one back in a party of three.
Les Williams shot his buck Saturday morning in the Pray area. He was in a party of three hunters who all were successful.
J. C. Pribnow returned to Loyal Monday night with his buck deer and another member of his party (oops lines are missing).
