Voelker, Robert A. (10 AUG 1931 - 23 SEP 1961)
Robert A. Voelker, 30, Milwaukee, died Saturday following a stroke, which he suffered while vacationing at Hartford.
Mr. Voelker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Voelker of Pittsville was born in the town of Hull Aug. 10, 1931 and attended grade school in the township.
The family moved to Pittsville and after his graduation from the high school there, he enlisted in the air corps and served from 1949 to 1953. At the time of his death he was employed at an electronics engineer at the A. C. Spark Plug Co. at Milwaukee.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Darlene) Wagner of Abbotsford, Mrs. Melvin (Karen) Heuer of Pittsville, and Miss Sandra Voelker, a student at St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Marshfield. His paternal grandfather, August Voelker, of Colby, also survives.
