Darfahl, Mrs. Albert (Auto accident - 1938)
Mrs. Albert Darfahl of Black Creek, a sister of Mrs. Henry Hoeft was severely injured Saturday evening, in an automobile accident on Highway 10.
Mr. Seefeldt, with his wife and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Darfahl as passengers were driving west on Highway 10 toward Granton where they intended to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hoeft, when the car driven by J. F. Furlong came out from a service station near the crossing at the Chili road intersection and collided with their car.
Mrs. Darfahl suffered a head injury, a broken jaw and severe bruises. She was taken to the Granton Clinic. Mrs. Seefeldt and Mr. Darfahl were also taken to the clinic where they were treated for cuts and bruises.
Furlong was taken to the Neillsville Hospital for head injuries and lacerations. He will be charged with reckless driving as soon as he is dismissed from the hospital.
