Hemphill, Jeffrey W.  (25 JUL 1961 - 22 OCT 1961)

Jeffrey William, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hemphill, died of pneumonia and complications Oct. 22, 1961, in a hospital at London, England.  Interment was made in London.

The baby was born July 25 at Karachi, West Pakistan.  Mrs. Hemphill and sons were enroute to Washington, D.C. for medical consultation for the baby, who had been ill.

Surviving him are his parents and one brother, Steven, six years old.  He was preceded in death by a sister.

Mr. and Mrs. Hemphill and son are expected in the near future to be here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Hemphill, before his next assignment.  He is employed as a geologist with the U.S. Government.
