Janda, Robert (Large Walleye - 27 OCT 1961)
Robert Janda caught a walleye weighing 8 ½ pounds Saturday at the Black River west of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).
The fish, which measured 29 ½ inches was caught on a weighted fly and light spinning tackle.
It was the second large fish of this kind in a week. He caught another walleye a week ago Monday at the dam at Lake Eau Claire weighing 11 pounds 2 ounce and measuring 30 ½ inches.
