Dorst, Mabel (Marriage - 29 December 1934)
In the presence of immediate relatives and friends, Miss Mabel Dorst, daughter of Michael Dorst, Granton, became the bride of Albert R. Huettl, son of Mrs. Marie Huettl, Milwaukee.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. Franke, Dec. 29, 1934, at 4 p.m. in Milwaukee. Attending the couple were Miss Mildred Werner and Gunnar Olson, both of Milwaukee.
A frock of red silk crepe was worn by the bride who carried a bouquet of white roses and sweet peas. Miss Werner wore green silk crepe, and her corsage consisted of red roses and sweet peas.
A supper at the home of the groom’s mother for eight was served following the ceremony. In the evening a reception for 25 couples was also held at the home of the groom’s mother.
The bride and groom left on a short trip to Granton and Oconto Falls subsequent to their marriage. After Feb. 1, Mr. and Mrs. Huettl will be at home to their friends in Milwaukee.
Mr. Huettl is employed as press operator. He has been employed for several years at Louis Allis Co., Bay View, Wis. Mrs. Huettl is a graduate nurse, lately employed in the Neillsville Hospital.
