Miss Pearl Beeckler returned to her school duties in Tomah Monday.

Miss Sadie Metcalf spent Sunday afternoon with friends here in town.

Mr. Truman Davis called on Victor Krejci Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Moh were Neillsville callers Monday afternoon.

Miss Kathryn Winn spent Saturday night at the Trimbergers.

Rufus Karl spent Sunday at the Jess Schultz home.

Joe Summers repaired Geo. Mortimer’s radio Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Cora Converse was ill with the grippe several days last week.

Mrs. Victor Krejci called on Mrs. Isaac Higgins Sunday afternoon.

Elsie Krejci visited Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Hugo Trimberger.

Chas. Neinas was a business caller in Chili Saturday.

Mrs. Geo. Beaver visited Monday afternoon in Neillsville.

Mrs. H. E. Williams spent Saturday in Marshfield.

Mrs. Arthur Lindow called at the El Jahr home Monday forenoon.

Mrs. Al Mabie and son Ted called on Mrs. Fuller Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Elmhorst and daughter Letta spent Sunday afternoon at the Ed Schlinsog home.

Mrs. Will Grottke left for Forest park, Ill., Friday morning to attend the funeral of an aunt.

The Misses Kathryn and Patty Winn spent Thursday night at the Wm. Schmidtke home.

Mr. Fred Ross was given a surprise birthday party Saturday evening in honor of his birthday.

The Misses Patty and Kathryn Winn and Iris Hiles spent Sunday afternoon with Eileen Bergemann.

Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Trimberger and sons spent New Year’s at the Odin Wang home in Greenwood.

Miss Geraldine Higgins left Thursday for Madison, where she is attending the University.

Mrs. Geo. Church and son, Eugene of Neillsville (Pine Valley), visited Thursday with Mrs. Clarence Nowack.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Neinas and Miss Lydia Neinas were guests at the Chas. Guk farm home Sunday.

The Misses Lydia Neinas and Mabel Williams spent Wednesday evening with Mrs. J. R. Thomas in Neillsville.

Albert Johnson of Augusta was a dinner guest at the Chas. Neinas home Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Tykac of Detroit, Mich., visited Friday evening at the M. G. Zahradka home.

Bernard Eibergen and mother, Mrs. Art Eibergen were Marshfield callers Thursday.

Miss Marie Eibergen returned to Neillsville Monday where she attends school.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dopp and son Leland were Sunday dinner guests at the Chas. Bladl home.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wilson spent Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Hale Davis in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Knudtson were Neillsville business callers several days last week.

Mrs. Adolph Roiceland and son called on Mrs. Gertrude Peterson on Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Truman Davis spent New Year’s night, Jan. 1^st, at the Abbie Davis home and helped Joe Summers celebrate his birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Hornick and sons were visitors at Chili with his parents Sunday.

Mrs. Amelia Gerzmehl was a visitor at the Tony Hornick home Monday.

Mrs. Ed Jahr visited at the Edwin and Edward Barth homes in Nasonville last Thursday and Friday.

Mrs. Anna Rose and son Harold spent Sunday, at the Elmer Rose home in Lindsey.

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Gerber and family were guests Sunday evening at the Hugo Trimberger home.

The Granton ladies Bridge Club met with Mrs. Eugene Crandall this Tuesday evening.

A nice crowd was present at the Benefit Dance given at the Opera House Saturday evening.

Miss Daphne Beeckler returned to her school duties in Neillsville Monday.

Mr. Charles Emery returned from his home in Plainfield Monday to resume his school duties here.

Mrs. Gus Bergemann and son Harland were Neillsville visitors one day last week.

Alice June Walleck and Ruth Spry visited a few days last week at the Matas and Prange homes.

Mrs. Krause of Stevens Point visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Spry, Sunday.

Mrs. Isaac Higgins called on Mrs. Breese and Mrs. Abbie Davis Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Truman Davis called on Mrs. Hattie Hayden and Mrs. Cora Converse Saturday afternoon.

Miss Sara Mae Davis R. N. helped Dr. Rath remove Marvin Spry’s tonsils last Wednesday.

Alvin Krause and Dorrence Searls helped Jess Schultz cut pole wood and Truman Davis helped haul them.

Mrs. Fred Gerber and daughter Natalie and Mrs. Leland Gerber and daughter visited with Miss Abbie Cornelius Monday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Arleigh K. Smith of Coloma, Mr. Louis and George Kleinschmidt visited Wednesday at the Ed Jahr home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kadolph and Mr. and Mrs. Will Kadolph of Loyal visited at the Wesly Jahr home Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Jahr of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Barth of Nasonville visited Sunday afternoon at the Ed Jahr home.

Mr. Frank Lulloff’s brother passed away at Clintonville, Wis.  Mr. Lulloff left Monday night to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Arlo Garbisch and daughter Lorraine and Mrs. Walter Trimberger called Sunday afternoon at the Fred Bartz home.

The Ladies Circle were entertained Thursday afternoon by Mrs. Edward Schroeder.  There were quite a few visitors present.

Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Quicker of Neillsville are the proud parents of a baby boy born to them last Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. G. Johnson returned from Eau Claire Sunday morning after spending the past two weeks with relatives there.

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Spry and family, Mrs. Violet Walleck and daughters were Sunday dinner guests at the Ed Prange home.

Mrs. Chas. Greeler who was helping care for baby Billie Naedler, while he had chicken pox, returned home Wednesday.

The West Fremont Homemakers Club helped Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tyler celebrate their wedding anniversary New Year’s Eve.

Mr. Erlin Bergemann returned Thursday from River Falls and left Saturday for his teaching duties at Livingston.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hasz and family, Henry Sternitzky and daughter Anna were dinner guests at the Dan Nickle home.

Mrs. Walter Trimberger and Mrs. Arnold Garbisch and daughter Lorraine spent Sunday afternoon at Fred Bartz.

Mrs. A. Brussow and little daughter Shirley came down from Loyal Monday and spent the day with her sister, Mrs. Victor Krejci.

Mrs. H. E. Williams entertained at two tables of bridge Thursday evening.  Prizes were awarded to Mrs. R. R. Rath and Miss Bessie Beeckler.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Tykac of Detroit, Mich. visited with his mother, Mrs. Jennie Tykac, several days the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Billman and family visited over Sunday and Monday at the Virgil Billman home in Genoa City.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Meyers of Loyal were Thursday evening supper guests at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Beaver.

Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Landgraf and Mrs. John Landgraf of Neillsville were Sunday evening visitors at the Geo. Beaver home.

Mr. and Mrs. Lou Smith autoed to the southern part of the state to attend the funeral of a relative last weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Zahradka and daughters were Sunday visitors at the home of his parents in Nasonville.

Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Winn were Thursday evening guests of Miss Emma Kimball and Mrs. Gertrude Peterson.

Mr. Frederick Pietenpol and family, John Pietenpol and Ruth, also Truman Davis and wife spent New Year’s Day with their cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gotter near Loyal.

A kitchen shower was given for Mr. and Mrs. Albert Huettl at the Clarence Nowack home Friday night, Jan. 4, 1935.  Many lovely gifts were received.

Miss Anita Jacobi, who visited Mrs. Wesley Jahr from Tuesday until Saturday, left for Milwaukee Saturday night where she has employment.

Eldred Reichert and his mother, Mrs. Clara Reichert, accompanied Mrs. Gertrude Gilbertson and family to Neillsville Sunday where they visited friends and relatives.

Miss Mabel Williams returned to her school duties in Almond Saturday after spending the past two weeks her at the home of her parents.

Mr. Frank Davis and daughters, Miss Stella Davis and Mrs. George Prochaska of Neillsville called on Mrs. Gertrude Peterson and Miss Emma Kimball Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Roiceland and son left Thursday for their home in St. Paul after spending the holidays here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cole. 

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Huettl left for Oconto Falls Saturday morning to visit the latter’s sister, Mrs. E. J. Shellman.  They expect to return to Milwaukee Sunday where they will make their home.
