Boehnen, Marlene Ann (Marriage - 31 December 1960)
Marlene Ann Boehnen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Boehnen of Rt. 2, Loyal, became the bride of Marvin Wucherpfennig, also of Loyal, at services in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal December 31. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Wucherpfennig of Loyal.
The Rev. Norbert E. King performed the ceremony.
Maid-of-honor was the bride’s sister, Kathleen Boehnen; and Mrs. Henry Auman, Jr., another sister, served as bridesmaid. The groom chose a brother, Walter, as bestman; and ushers were a brother-in-law of the groom Henry Auman, Jr., a brother of the bride, Larry Boehnen, and a brother of the groom, Glenn Wucherpfennig.
Music was furnished by St. Anthony’s choir.
A dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents for members of the bridal party and the immediate families. A reception was held there in the afternoon.
Both young people are graduates of Loyal High School. They are making their home at 109 North Maple, Marshfield, where the groom is employed.
Out of town people present for the ceremony included: Mr. and Mrs. George Hoffman of Merrillan; Mr. and Mrs. Lessie (balance of names is missing).
