Warnke*, Louis T (8 August 1888 - 4 January 1961)
Mr. Warnke, a resident of Curtiss, died in Marshfield January 4, as a result of old age complications. Services were held from the funeral home in Owen, with the Rev. Theodore C. Predoehl of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Withee conducting the service. Burial was made in the Town of Beaver Cemetery.
Mr. Warnke was born August 8, 1888, in the Town of Longwood. His parents were Caroline (Wilk) and John Warnke. He was married September 23, 1910 to Edith Sell in Curtiss. They farmed until his retirement a few years ago.
Among those surviving are three children: Mrs. Walter (Leona) Dignesq of Curtiss; Mrs. Elroy (Arlene) Plantico, and Clarence, both of Wisconsin Rapids. Also surviving are two sisters, three brothers and six grandchildren.
