Chili, Wisconsin (12 January 1961)

 

The W. S. C. S. of the Evangelical United Brethren Church met Wednesday afternoon.  Mrs. Edward Ott led devotions.  The topic was, "Into all the world together."  She was assisted by Miss Hazel Ott.  Mrs. Phelps Spry conducted the business meeting.  The executive board and program committee is to meet at the Spry home Monday evening.  Mrs. L. L. McCormick read an article on "The Bible".  Used Christmas cards are to be given to Mrs. Marlyn Lindow before next Sunday, so they can be sent to missions.  Visitors were Mrs. Lester Swenson, Mrs. Franklin Stump and Hazel Ott.  Hostesses were Mrs. Wayne Booth and Mrs. Lyle Zimmerman.

 

Mr. a d Mrs. Lester Johnson, Marshfield, visited Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Dix.

 

Charles Lindow, Marshfield, was a Sunday dinner guest at the Albert Grimm home.  Miss Marian Lindow is a patient in a Marshfield hospital.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Gerber, Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schlinsog and Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lee and Dennis were Sunday evening visitors at the Ed Lindow home.

 

Miss Joyce Zimmerman, Stevens Point, spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Zimmerman.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Erickson, Loyal, visited Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schlinsog.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Byron Treangon entertained friends from North Dakota last week.
