Schramm, Ida E. (22 AUG 1878 - 16 JAN 1962)

 

Mrs. Nicholas Schramm, 83, died Jan. 16, 1962 at the Protestant Home in Milwaukee where she had been a resident the past six years.

 

Mr. Schramm, the former Ida Ernestine Scheibe, was born Aug. 22, 1878, in Sheboygan Falls, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Scheibe.  The family moved to the town of Holton in 1881 and Mrs. Schramm attended the Pickard School.  Her adult life was spent in Milwaukee, where she was married to Nicholas Schramm in 1961.  He preceded her in death in 1927.

 

She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters and four brothers.

 

Her only survivors are two nieces, Mrs. Clarence Rankl and Mrs. Oscar Koffarnus, and two nephews, George and Art Scheibe, Abbotsford, and five nieces in Milwaukee and two nieces in Chicago.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Rankl attended the funeral, which was held at the Protestant Home Friday, with the Rev. E. J. buck officiating.  Mrs. Schramm was a member of the United Church of Christ.  Interment was made in Pine Lawn Cemetery.
