Beaver, Edward A. (1 June 1892 - 1961)
Edward A. Beaver, 68, a native of Loyal, died Tuesday morning at River Pines sanitarium in Stevens Point. He had been a patient there for a month. He was born June 1, 1892 in the Town of Loyal to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Beaver. He had lived in the Loyal area all his life except for four years, when he was employed at Manitowish Waters. For the last 1 ½ years he lived with his brother, Matt, in Colby. He never married.
He was one of 19 children. Those who survive are: William of Loyal; Bernard of Marshfield; Matt of Colby; and a sister, Mrs. John (Bertha) Dean, of Compton, Calif.
The body is at the Myre Funeral Home. Funeral services are tentatively set for Friday from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
