Riehle, Mary Jane (24 FEB 1962)

Mrs. Leonard Riehle announces the marriage of her daughter, Mary Jane, to Hugo Rudy Saliger of Fort Lewis, Wash., son of Mr. and Mrs. George Seliger of Marathon.

The ceremony was performed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Yakima, Wash., on Feb. 24, 1962.  The Rev. J. Schoemberg performed the ceremony at 9 a.m.

Attending the couple were Miss Diane Schmidt of Appleton and Lavern Lang of Ft. Lewis.

For her wedding, the bride chose a floor length gown of Chantilly lace over taffeta.  The molded bodice of lace had scalloped sweetheart neckline embroidered with sequins and pearls.  It dipped to a V at the center of the waistline and the long sleeves tapered to points at the wrist where they were secured with tiny lace buttons.  The very full skirt of lace had diamond tulle inserts appliqued with lace medallions embroidered with iridescent sequins and pearls.  Her English silk illusion veil was attached to a coronet encircled with pearls with scalloped crystal outline studded with larger pearls.  She carried a bouquet of red and white roses tied with a large white bow.

Her maid of honor was attired in a pink ballerina length dress.  With it she wore a pink hat and white gloves.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Seliger are making their home at Ft. Lewis.  Prior to her marriage the bride was employed at Wausau at Marathon Electric.
