The first meeting of the Greenwood Satellites 4-H club was held January 23 at the home of Mrs. John Speich. There were 15 members present.
Officers elected were: president, Jim Kesler; vice president, Dallas Wuethrich; secretary and treasurer, Paulette Steffen; and club reporter, Gary Schultz.
The recreation committee for February is composed of Dawn and Dallas Wuethrich and Gary Schultz; Suzanne Gotz will give a talk on "Safety".
Joe Pietrek, 4-H Club agent instructed on selecting a project and how to best fit needs and ability. Dallas Wuethrich moved that meetings start at 8 sharp and close no later than 9:30, due to school nights. The next meeting will be held February 23, at the Gotlieb Martin home.
Project leaders for the year so far are: dairy, John D. Wuethrich; clothing, Mrs. Earl Caliebe; foods and nutrition, Mrs. Alvin Schultz and Mrs. Kohlnhofer. - Club reporter, Gary Schultz.
