Mr. and Mrs. Guy Schultz visited Saturday afternoon in Loyal with Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Timmler.
Mr. and Mrs. Guy Schultz and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Hantke visited Sunday afternoon in Black River Falls with Mr. and Mrs. Arne Bakken.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Kapfer and Michael visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Guy Schultz.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fitzmaurice and family of Humbird visited Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Holub.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Holub, Mike and Terry, visited Sunday at the Fred McCarty home.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Galbreath and family of Wisconsin Rapids visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Art Opelt.
Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Schultz and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Von Rueden of Alma Center visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Louie Lautenbach.
Mr. and Mrs. John Subke and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Sheffer visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Walmuth at Hatfield.
Mr. and Mrs. John Subke took their son, Donald, to Madison Friday, where he has some braces put on his teeth. Ed Holub and Mrs. Minerva Viergutz accompanied them; Mrs. Viergutz spent the weekend there with her husband, who is in the Veterans’ hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. John Subke and Ed Holub had dinner Friday in Madison with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Neville and family.
Mrs. Jerry Cernik and children visited Sunday with Mrs. Joe Cernik.
The Riverside Mothers Club met last Thursday evening. Mrs. Grace Schoen and Mrs. Helen Schultz furnished the lunch, and Mrs. Mary Yankee provided the entertainment. Plans were made to have a Valentine Party for the children, February 14.
The Levis-Dewhurst Birthday club has postponed its meeting to February 9. It will be held at the home of Mrs. Delores Kluckhohn.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kalina had their baby daughter, Christine Ann, baptized Sunday. Sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. George Kalina of Chicago. The following were dinner guests at the Kalina home: Mr. and Mrs. John Kalina of Phillips, the paternal grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Subke, maternal grandparents, Steve Augustine and daughter Debbie, and Richard Kalina of Phillips; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mack (balance of news missing).
