Globe, Wisconsin (9 February 1961)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Henchen presented their infant son for baptism at the Sunday morning service in Immanuel Lutheran Church.  He was given the name of Randall Lee, and his sponsors were Carol Henchen, Sandra Thoma, and Edward Henchen.  Mr. and Mrs. Henchen entertained in their son’s honor at dinner and supper.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer and Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow visited Mr. and Mrs. Linus Prock in Neillsville, Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hillert of Greenwood visited Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow Wednesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer entertained last week Wednesday evening, it being Mr. Klauer’s 79th birthday. Guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Ted Mitte, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family, Gene Schoenherr, Mrs. Raymond Kalsow, Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux and Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap.  A lunch followed an evening at cards.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Sternitzky and daughter of Granton, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kuenkel and son, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Mech and daughter of Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap were Sunday dinner and supper guests; and afternoon guests included Mr. and Mrs. John Haage and family of La Crosse and Mr. and Mrs. Hans Kalsow and son.  They were also supper guests at the Martin and Donald Kalsow home in observance of Donald’s birthday.

 

Mrs. Martha Hoffmann spent Friday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bohnsack and daughters visited Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family Sunday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Oldham and family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux, attended the birthday of Frank Dux in Loyal Sunday evening.

 

Lebrecht Kalsow visited last Thursday afternoon with Ferdinand Grap.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Westphal and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson were dinner and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinkert Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roland Kalsow and daughter called on his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow, Sunday morning.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sackett and family of Alma Center visited Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beyer and family and Hattie Winton.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Markham and family and William Dollase were dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beyer and family.
