Services for Mrs. Roy Stirmel, 69, were held on Friday, February 6th at 2 p.m. at the Walworth Funeral Home, Walworth, Wis., with the Rev. H. O. Gronseth officiating. Burial was in the Brick Church cemetery.
She passed away on Tuesday night at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. She had been living with her son, Frank, at Greenwood.
Belinda Rebecca Merwin was born April 1, 1883, at East Delavan, the daughter of Henry and Clara Barnes Merwin. She married Roy Stirmel February 9, 1905, at Walworth. She was a member of the Brick Baptist Church, the Women’s Union and the R.N. A.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, Frank, Greenwood; and George, Sharon, Wis; and eleven grandchildren.
