Colby, Lowell M. #2 (15 MAY 1920 - 26 MAY 1962)

Funeral services for Lowell M. Colby, 42, who died of a heart attack Saturday evening, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Unity Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ralph Koelemay officiating.  Burial was made in the town of Brighton Cemetery.

Mr. Colby, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Colby, was born May 15, 1920, in Abbotsford, and he received his education here.  Since 1929 he lived at Unity.

Surviving him are his mother, six sisters and three brothers.  His father preceded him in death in 1937.

Attending the funeral from here were his uncle, W. O. Colby, and cousins, Miss Wilma Colby, Mrs. Walter Nixdorf and Mrs. Don Colby.
