Neillsville, Wisconsin Locals (23 February 1961)

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Williams and daughters have moved to Neillsville from Rice Lake and have rented an apartment on Hewett Street.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest John have been informed that their son, Ernest, Jr., has been elected to the student council at Milwaukee School of Engineering.

 

Walter Marg and son of Black River Falls visited at the Kurt Marg home and with other relatives in Neillsville Friday.

 

Lee Keller of Minneapolis visited Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Keller last week.

 

Diamond Rebekah Lodge postponed a card party last Saturday because of the storm. The Neillsville Odd Fellow Lodge 198 made a cash contribution to an Augusta girl scheduled for heart surgery.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Feuerstein visited Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Frank in Oshkosh last weekend.  Kathie Feuerstein of Stevens Point spent the weekend at home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith visited her brother, Douglas Stolts, in Minneapolis last week.  Mr. and Mrs. Lee Morteboy of Sechlerville weekend visitors at the Smith home.

 

Mrs. Viola Lockman of the Columbia area visited Friday at the Louis Wiesner home.  Mr. and Mrs. Victor Porath, and Mrs. Lillian Porath, Lynn, called there Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz had Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. William Tullis in Sherwood.

 

Mrs. Lucille Fenske returned to Eagle River Friday after spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. Nick Scherer.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Cardinal of Hatfield are spending the balance of the winter in Phoenix, Ariz.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bud Wittke and children of Black River Falls and Mr. an Mrs. Victor Schultz and son, Gary of Eau Claire visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wittke, last weekend and assisted Mrs. Wittke in celebrating her birthday.

 

Sandra Lahm, of the Winnebago Children’s Home staff, visited friends in La Crosse last weekend.

 

Fred Pretsch, Harry Carstensen and Jake Kozlowski are enjoying a visit in Florida.
