Zugier, Pauline (31 MAY 1888 - 8 JUN 1962)
Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Zugier, 74, who died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Friday morning, June 8, 1962, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Christ Lutheran Church. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated at the services during which Miss Dorothy Kieser and Mrs. Weldon Brown Jr. sang "The Old Rugged Cross: and "Rock of Ages," with Miss Kieser as organist.
The pallbearers for the interment made in the Abbotsford Cemetery were Lawrence Hopfensperger, Elmer Junker, Walter Kellner, Gene Ridderbusch, Harold Schultz and Gilbert Westphal.
Mrs. Zugier was born Pauline Paul, May 31, 1888, in Germany, and was married there to Joseph Zugier May 12, 1913. They came to the U.S. in November 1924, and settled in the Stetsonville are, and later moved to the town of Holton, where they have lived since.
Surviving her are her husband and three sons, Paul of Dorchester, Alfred of Medford, and William at home. There are also 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
